Function:

Feature1 --- interference eliminator code

Interference eliminator codes help minimize interference by providing a selection of code combinations. To set a code for a channel:

1. Press the MENU button until the code starts flashing.
2. Press to select code 0-99 or 99-0.
3. Press the PTT button to save the code setting.

Function 2 --- keyboard locking

1. To avoid accidentally changing the radio settings, press the call button for 3 seconds or until the call key appears and a "beep" sounds. You can turn the radio on and off, you cannot adjust the volume, menus and monitoring channels. All other functions are blocked.
2. To unlock the radio, press the call button for 3 seconds or until the call key is no longer displayed. And there is a "beep" signal.

Note: When locking, only the PTT key and the call key are valid.

Function 3 --- to set the call sound

1. Press the MENU key button until the icon cr 08 appears. Current call tone Flash setting.
2. Press (up/down) to change and hear the call sound.
3. Press the PTT button to save.

Function 4 --- voice transmission (VOX)

Transmission is initiated by speaking into the radio's microphone instead of pressing the PTT button.

1. Press MENU button 3 times to enter voice control settings.
2. Voice control level 1-3 optional (lowest level 1, highest level 3, is disabled)

Note: Note level "N" (off) disables VOX levels 1-3, set the VOX circuit sensitivity to level 1 in a quiet environment, and use level 3 in a very noisy environment. You can find the appropriate sensitivity level by speaking into the microphone.
